Freehold Commons is an approximately 40,000 SF Professional Building built in 2008. TAK developed, built, leased and fit up, and managed the property. TAK recently sold the property in 2016.

Kensington Court

Kensington Court was built, owned, and operated by TAK. A boutique, 124-bed facility for assisted living and memory care senior services. TAK recently sold the facility in 2016.

Hudson Country Correctional Facility Kearny, NJ

The Hudson County Correctional Facility project, completed by TAK in 2006, added a new medium-security 6-story, 110,000sf dormitory building connected to the existing Kearny facility to house 512 new inmates. The building includes a new kitchen facility to service the overall 2,000 inmate population. The post-tensioned concrete structure with a 30year Hyperlast IRMA roof (inverted roofing membrane assembly) includes state-of-the-art security and communications systems. The inmate floors include two bunk and living areas with a common outdoor recreation area.

Manhattan View Nursing Facility

Completed in early 2000 and located in the heart of Union City, New Jersey, the Manhattan View Nursing Facility houses 110 patients and a day care center for the elderly. The building is five-stories above grade with a partial basement and includes state-of-the-art care technology and equipment.

The construction included extensive blasting of rock and shoring of major thoroughfares into the Lincoln Tunnel. The building is structural steel framing with EPDM roof and an exterior EIFS wall finish system. TAK overcame the constraints of the site’s location and coordinated daily with material suppliers and subcontractors to accommodate work in this confined space.
